60m² Scheffler Reflectors are so far the largest Scheffler Reflectors in use. This size was specially developed for the needs of solar thermal power plants. Our project partner WRST (Brahma Kumaris) in India is currently installing a large field of 60m² Scheffler Reflectors near their Ashram in Abu Road, Rajasthan. All reflectors are manufactured on site and will provide steam to run a 1MW steam turbine day and night. Simply Solar is providing technical support to the project for the reflector technology, the tracking solution and the storage concept.
