Two Scheffler Reflectors of 2m² each provide the energy for producing up to 100kg of artesanal soap per day. Each reflector charges an individual storage unit in its focal point. The storage unit is designed to act as an interim storage in order to use gaps in heating the production vessel for accumulating heat and in order to smoothen the steam supply under cloudy weather conditions. Three to four batches of soap can be produced per day.
Steam is produced on demand by the heat storage. The steam line from the two storage units is joined and the steam is injected into the double jacket of the production vessel. This prototype system was ordered by our customer Lush Croatia.
